My name is Lauren Plett. I grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma where I attended Edmond Memorial High School. I was in Band all four years of High School. During those years I had the privilege of playing in CODA band three times. My senior year I auditioned for a music scholarship at UCO and received one.

Being able to play music in college has been one of my greatest joys. Everyone is always so friendly and inviting. The clarinet section here is fantastic. They are all great musicians and great people. The professors are wonderful. This year I had the opportunity to take lessons from both Mrs. Rucker and Dr. Lindblade. I have become a better player because of them. It has been so nice to play with great people and to learn from great Professors.
